Synopsis: A hard-drinking, hard-working farmer rules the roost, his three daughters and his easy-going wife. Then his son, the aimless poet, returns home and the family reaction is considerable.

Trivia: This was the first production of the play and was also Lewis’s West End début. The music was specially composed for the show by Alan Price.
