Comment:
There were two productions of Cinderella in Plymouth that year, leading to a friendly rivalry. The two casts appeared together on Saturday Superstore in a charity "Yes/No" competition.
Lewis’s comment:
"I'm really looking forward to it. I'd have liked a slapstick rôle but I shall play Prince Charming straight."
"I've had some leg-pulling, but I'm enjoying myself!"
Reviews:
"Lewis Collins manages to come over as a carefree and handsome prince, far removed from the artificial haughty kind seen in past pantos" The Stage, 13th January, 1983
